Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m Katherine—most people call me Kat—and I’m completely, unapologetically in love with all things pickleball.

I’m a mom to one beautiful daughter, two very whacky, snuggly rescue pups, and a wife to a moody British man ;) By day I’m a real estate agent in Los Angeles, CA… and in my spare time, I’m on a pickleball court somewhere chasing dinks and laughing with friends.

My pickleball journey started thanks to my fun tennis crew, who dragged me onto a court after one of our matches. Coming from a lifetime of tennis, I genuinely thought pickleball was silly. Then Covid (and a stubborn case of tennis elbow) forced me to take a break—so I picked up a paddle and played left-handed pickleball for four months. That’s when it happened: I discovered Open Play… where I could just pop by a random park and play in my spare time!

I’d jump into games with people I’d never met, and every single group welcomed me like an old friend. Suddenly, I had a brand-new community—students, rock stars, teachers, entertainment folks, which included people in their teens to 60+—all united by this hilarious sport. My phone started filling up rapidly with contacts whose last name was “Pickleball,” lol.

I had found my home and never looked back. There was just so much to learn, so much joy, so many incredible people, and now… a new adventure in competitive pickleball, too! Tournaments!! Dupr ratings! Oh my!!

This shop is an extension of that joy—fun, expressive, light-hearted apparel and gifts for everyone who’s fallen in love with the game like I did.
